The refuge is a great place to relax with a nice view from the top of the tower. The tower may sway in the wind, so if you suffer from motion sickness it would be best to go on a day with no noticeable wind. There is a bodega to eat, but birds nests in the rafters make cleanliness an issue. The museum is small but great for kids with many things that small children can touch.
